October is Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention Month, and Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is helping women get healthy with the reveal of the "Be Healthy. Get Active. Ride!" campaign and their first professional team of riders.

The campaign aims to promote healthy lifestyles among women by showing B4BC's team riders getting active in Carrilllo State Park in Malibu, CA. The athletes on B4BC's new pro roster include surfers Courtney Conlogue, Liz Clark, Sage Erickson and Malia Manuel, skaters Mimi Knoop and Allysha Bergado, snowboarders Elena Hight, Kimmy Fasani and Hana Beaman, and wakeboarder Tarah Mikacich.

B4BC's Executive Director, Erika Seward, hopes the new campaign will inspire girls to take control of their health and participate in board sports and other actives to prevent breast cancer.

"Studies show that poor diet and lack of exercise can increase the risk for breast cancer and other chronic diseases," Seward says. "It’s an expansion on our continued promise of promoting a healthy, active lifestyle."

Erika will be back later this week show us how we can help prevent breast cancer. Until then, check out the B4BC PSA here or go behind the scenes of the campaign shoot on Havoc TV.
