Frankie Harrer leads something of a charmed life: The 14-year-old just took a vacation to Tahiti and stayed for a few days after just to surf. "Being in Tahiti for the first time was amazing," she says, "the waves are so fun. Surfing Teahupoo was scary at first because all of the pictures you see of it are giant barrels, but when I was there it was more of a super-rippable left."

Charmed, perhaps, but she's earned every vacation she takes: The Malibu-native recently beat the record for the most wins in an NSSA season (40 wins) and won the Open Girls and Middle School divisions this year at the NSSA nationals. Oh, and she speaks fluent German.
