There are toxins all around us, from the air we breathe to our food and water. It’s impossible to avoid them, but there are steps we can take to help our bodies get rid of toxins. Tiffany lost her father to ALS. To this day, doctors still don’t know how you get ALS, but they do link it to toxins in the body. After Tiffany’s dad passed away, she was determined to not let toxins take over her body the same way. We take this issue very seriously and you should, too!

These foods and supplements help assist with detoxification:

Calcium D-Glucarate:
This chemical is naturally found in the human body and in a variety of fruits and vegetables. Calcium D-Glucarate helps to remove toxins that mimic estrogen in the body, like BPA, and prevents the reabsorption of toxins. We recommend taking a supplement called Source Naturals Calcium D-Glucarate.

Chlorophyll:
Chlorophyll is the pigment that gives plants their green hue and is good for detoxification of the liver. Chlorophyll helps the activity of detoxification enzymes, protects against free radical damage, and binds to toxins, promoting their elimination. They sell Chlorophyll liquid at health stores, and it’s in many greens and also wheatgrass.

Cruciferous Vegetables:
These are rich in vitamin C and fiber, both of which help with purification. You can get a dose of these vegetables in your diet just by adding kale and veggies to your plate every day.

Fiber:
If you don’t have regular bowel movements (getting rid of chemicals that have been detoxified by the liver and eliminated in the bowels) then you risk the chance of chemicals and toxins getting reabsorbed into the bloodstream. Try to get at least 25 to 35 grams of soluble fiber per day and drink plenty of water. Beans, Pysllium husk, chia, and flaxseeds are perfect sources of fiber.

Probiotics:
If your gut bacterium isn’t in full balance then toxins that are released will get reabsorbed in the blood. 10 billion CFUs of probiotics per day can restore the balance of bacteria in your whole body. We recommend going to your local health food store and buying a supplement to take 30 minutes before lunch and dinner.

We hope you all understand how important it is to put these wonderful supplements and food into your bodies. They'll help to keep your bodies in a cleansing state and, therefore, healthy. We want to prevent future diseases, health complications, and keep you feeling good inside and out. A happy body equals a happy mind, which in turn equals a happy life.

Your Health Gurus,
xoxo Tiffany & Kara
