What are you obsessing over right now?
Right now I'm very into the 1960s trend. Not so much the housewife of the '60s that we always see in editorials these days, but the cool, effortless women of the decade, like Francoise Hardy and Jane Birkin. As far as an item I'm coveting, I'd love a pair of Tom Ford's "Nikita" cat eye sunglasses right now.

What is your favorite outfit to throw on when you're in a style crunch?
I like to throw on a pair of cool printed jeans with a band T-shirt. The go-to pieces right now are definitely my Guess 30th Anniversary sunflower print black jeans and my Horrors tee.

Where is the strangest place you’ve drawn inspiration from?
I usually draw inspiration for how I dress from the way men dress, particularly the men in my favorite bands. There is nothing better than a guy in a rock and roll band who knows how to dress, but in a more preppy sort of way. I like to take elements of how those guys dress and make it a little more feminine.

Who is your style icon?
I have more than one style icon for sure, I like to look to models for inspiration, I love how Ruby Aldridge dresses while off the runway, as well as Frida Gustavsson and Amanda Norgaard. My definite style icon is Alexa Chung, she always seems to be doing something right with every outfit. Other random folk I look to are people like Mick Jagger, Patti Smith, and Debbie Harry.

Where’s the best place to shop in your city?
I like to drive all around Los Angeles to find cool places to shop— my favorite place is Opening Ceremony because they curate a really interesting collection of pieces each season, from their in house line to top designers, they have it all. Plus they have really good sales! I also enjoy hitting up the Fairfax Flea Market from time to time, you never know when gems you can thrift there.

Best style advice ever received?
The best advice I've ever received regarding style definitely has to be to explore any style you want, whenever you want, and just do what you want. It might be cheesy, but its true: don't care what others think about your clothes, if you want to dress a certain way, go for it.

Special thanks to photographer Felisha Tolentino for sharing these photos with us!

Check back every Wednesday to see if your blog made our list, like Obsessee and Vintage Virgin did!
