If you're having that twice-in-a-decade feeling, it's probably because the summer Olympics are once again upon us. Here, the rising stars—and downright one-woman constellations—of Team USA.

Name: Alysia Montaño
Sport: 800M Track and Field
Age: 25
Hometown: Queens, NY

People are talking:
In 2010, Montaño was named the world's fastest woman and in 2011, she was ranked number one for her event. She's also known for her signature style, a flower that she wears in her hair for every race.

A flair for the dramatic:
The light-speed-fast runner studied Theatre at UC Berkeley and plans to pursue a career in film, saying "I would love to play a role in an action or thriller as a bad check vixen—looking cute and slapping the junk out of people when they least expect it."
