It’s not easy to get people all the way out to Hollywood on a weeknight. But Wednesday night come they did, in platform heels, leather jackets, denim vests, and plenty of Nasty Gal flavor. It would be an understatement to say the Nasty Gal website relaunch and Coachella party was a success. The Roosevelt Hotel pool area was quickly packed to capacity while hundreds of hopeful—and fashionably dressed—fans waited in a line that flooded into the front lobby as hotel security tried to keep the party guests in order.
Founded in 2006, Nasty Gal quickly grew from a simple eBay store to the mega fashion e-tailer it is today, thanks in part to a very passionate cult following. Now ready to launch its own in-house label in fall 2012, Nasty Gal wanted to celebrate its success with the people who helped them get there, their fans. Didn't make it in?
