What are you doing this Thursday from 6-8pm? If your answer falls somewhere between 'working late' and 'watching reruns of 30 Rock,' may we suggest this alternative:

Etsy is hosting two D.I.Y. nights at local craft museums:

Make a Kindle Keeper in L.A.
Bring your favorite old book to the Craft and Folk Museum in L.A. to learn how to transform it into an cover for your Kindle, Nook or other electronic device with Lisa Occhipinti, the author of The Repurposed Library.
$7 admission includes materials, drinks and snacks. RSVP at rsvp@cafam.org.

Build Seed Bombs in San Fran
Graffiti? We're more impressed by guerrilla gardeners. Become one with the help of Oakland artist Sadi Harmon at the Museum of Craft & Folk Art in San Francisco.
$10 admission includes admission, tips and tricks.

Can't attend? Just DIY with our long list of projects!
