The Bikini Fox's Favorite S/S 2012 Trends (clockwise from top left): Neon by Tori Praver, Animal Print by Alopé, Fringe by Boys + Arrows, Tribal by Mara Hoffman, High-Waists by ACACIA,

As curator of online swim shop The Bikini Fox, Chelsea Bell is waist deep in nylon and netting every day. One plus side to all that work? Bell is privileged to trend spotting before everyone else! Here, the top five summer swim trends she's stashed away for herself:

Our favorite way to wear neon without looking like a bad '80s rerun? Solid tri-tops and string bottoms in watermelon pink or citrusy green.

Animal Print
Wearing feline prints has felt high-class for decades. Translate that allure with some lady-like coverage in the form of a cap-sleeve wetsuit shortie.

High Waists
If your buns aren't in tip-top condition (or even if they are), a high-reaching bottom is here to save the day, elongating legs and flattening bellies.

After all the hype fringe had last year, we were sure it wouldn't be up for another appearance. This solid number proves us wrong—and we're glad we were!

Tribal print is our favorite old standby because with every new season, it manages to feel fresh and regal (and looks instantly Coachella-ready with some simple crochet shorts)
