Hiking-inspired coats at Christopher Raeborn

Who knew the gymnasium would prove such everlasting fashion inspiration? Season after season, staples like dressed-up sweatshirts and punchy windbreakers reemerge, and New York, London and Milan Fashion Weeks were no different. Central Saint Martins showcased hometown pride (London is hosting the Olympics this summer) in the form of a headdress, while PPQ sent beach cruisers down the catwalk. There was a splattering of turquoise, geometric waves on pieces from Michael Van Der Ham and Antonio Bererdi, while Christopher Raeborn borrowed elements from hiking capes and rain jackets. Our favorite sporty look came in the form of Ashish's tongue-in-cheek sweatshirts and referee tees, paired with perfectly clashing sequin pants— proving sportswear looks just as natural at brunch as it does in the locker room.
