We’re so in love with Geren Ford’s fall line of intimates that we refuse to relegate its pieces to the boudoir. Apparently we’re not alone. “The company actually started with lingerie and loungewear and no one would wear it as it was intended,” explains the designer behind Geren Ford, Geren Lockhart. And who could blame us? The spaghetti-strapped tank with the mellow-hued stripes just begs to be paired with a high-waist skirt. And the burgundy drape of the silk stitch tank would look stunning over black cotton leggings. Luckily, when asked, the designer gives us permission to turn these skivvies into daywear. “It’s always been about multi-functional garments,” she says. Added bonus? At the end of an exhausting evening, you’re already dressed for bed.
