Lace, like the ladies who wear it, has come a long way. Once reserved for Granny's finest linens or your daintiest undergarments, the frilliest of fabrics is finally seeing the light of day. Whether you're going for high contrast– paired with denim does the trick– or full on Virgin Suicides fluff, the fabric of the moment is just too good to keep locked up at home.

Tip: To wear head-to-toe lace, try pairing different sized patterns together (as seen above) so you don't transform into a tablecloth. Add a neon bandeau under your top or some neutral rope jewelry.
