"Death Valley is the most beautiful place I've ever been to in California. When I heard there were sand dunes and salt flats only four hours away from Los Angeles, I knew I had to visit. On the drive there I created characters for this series: Death Valley Girls are passive-aggressive and territorial. They are angsty, secretive, and spiritual. Like sirens they will dazzle and draw you in only to stab you in the back because you're so, like, immature." –Claire Oring
