Boarding Since: Age 11
Has it been different leading the pro life than boarding for fun?
My dream was always to become a professional snowboarder. Once that become a reality, my view and love of snowboarding didn't necessarily change– it became a full-time career rather than just a sport that I loved.
What's a big lesson you learned that you'd want to share with people new to the sport?
It's all about creativity and self-expression. There is no right or wrong way to snowboard, and having that freedom to do whatever you want is what makes it so special.
What do you never hit the slopes without?
My earbud headphones that connect to my iPod, so that I always have tunes to ride to.
