Maniamania Jewelry
Little known fact: The debut collection of just-launched jewelry label MANIAMANIA was inspired largely by the John Lennon/Yoko Ono-produced film “The Holy Mountain,” which was a tale about the quest for cosmic enlightenment. And we’re fairly certain the duo would approve upon examining the elaborate cuffs and molten gold necklaces. The masterminds behind the line, Australian stylist Tamila Purvis and art director Melanie Kamsler, combine their backgrounds in fashion and graphic design with a range of inspirations—including bohemian rock artists, elfin lore, as well as the aforementioned movie—resulting in futuristic pieces, such as an oversized metal-cast bib necklace completed with huge chunks of calcite crystal.
