Things you could normally do during a weekend: Hit a morning surf session, avoid doing your calculus homework, take the dog to the park, buy discount bikinis.
What you could be doing October 15-16: Surfing with a team of 24 alongside celebrities like Jesse Spencer (House), Preston Davis (Entourage), Zoe Bell (Death Proof), and Gregory Harrison (One Tree HIll) while saving the sea during the fourth annual Project SOS: Surf 24.
World surfing champ Shaun Tomson and Tanna Frederick, actress and founder of Project SOS: Surf 24, will co-host the event in Santa Monica, where 12 teams will send one of their 24 members out to surf every 45 minutes, all to raise money for Santa Monica Baykeeper, Waves for Water, Inside the Outdoors and Tumelo Home.
