Sometimes the biggest prize comes in the smallest of packages: Last week Pennyroyal Studio and Confederacy launched "The Ocean" pendant, a delicate nautical-inspired charm being sold to benefit THERAsurf, an organization founded by pro-surfer Jimmy Gamboa to help special needs children safely experience the healing power of surfing and the sea.
The private event, hosted by actor/surfer/photographer Scott Caan, saw guests like Krysten Ritter, Benjamin Bratt, Talisa Soto, Danny Masterson, Zelda Williams, Sarah Shahi, Steve Howey, Chris Masterson and Brian Geraghty come out to kick off the launch of the pendant.
"The design is symbolic of the experience the kids have when they're in the water," says Pennyroyal owner and designer Tim Foster. "The anchor represents stability, the shark tooth bravery and the wave freedom."
The pendant is made of sterling silver and bronze and hangs from an adjustable cotton cord. It retails for $100 at PennyroyalStudio.com.
