OUR NEW GIRL CRUSH

In the tradition of so many über-cool artists and skaters, Lia Halloran is Bay Area bred and L.A. transplanted. In our book, girls that skate—by default—pretty much are the sh*t but the chick can paint. It’s why we’re featuring her in Foam Issue 25 (out September 5) and the reason the New York Times did an art review on Lia and her paintings.

Yes.

Why do we have so many so called “artists” out there that get praised for something that is not good and over idolized just because they are popular by a social ladder. But when you have real artists like Lia Halloran you dont hear much about them, these are the real artist that need to get credited for the amazing work they do!!.
