Los Angeles is on the brink of becoming the most innovative, experimental food city in the country, and few dining events convey that quite like the city-wide culinary spectacle, dineLA Restaurant Week.
Held twice a year, dineLA Restaurant Week allows foodies to try the latest and great restaurants in L.A. County via exclusive, prix fixe menus. With menus ranging from $15 for lunch to $50 for dinner, hundreds of eateries spanning neighborhoods, cuisines and specialties put their best menus forward to woo new diners and entice their regulars.
So which restaurants should you try during the two-week event? For exotic fare, try the Mediterranean-tinged offerings at Acabàr in Hollywood, which include a sweet potato gnocchi and braised short rib, or hit Bagatelle if you want to savor the latest in trendy French cuisine. Xiomara on Melrose always has a stellar Californian menu each year, while The Springs in downtown Los Angeles makes its Restaurant Week debut with a decadent three-course vegan menu featuring mushroom scallops.
