As far as new launches go, we’d say Yogasmoga is having a pretty banner year. The brand—created by brother-and-sister du, Rishi and Tapasya Bali—launched earlier this year as an e-commerce site, but has already opened two brick-and-mortar shops in the tony neighborhoods of Greenwich, CT and Brentwood in Los Angeles. Hailing from a Himalayan town (considered to be the birthplace of the ancient practice), the Balis spent years developing and perfecting their proprietary blend of Supplex and Lycra, which also has moisture-wicking properties so you can (comfortably!) partake in your favorite Bikram classes. The resulting collection—completely made in the US—is functional, stylish, and philanthropic. Namaskar, a foundation spearheaded by the designers, helps support health, education, and micro-lending in the developing world. Now, that’s what we call good karma.
