Krochet Kids’ Campfire-Ready Fall Collection
The nonprofit releases its latest fall-ready line to support women in impoverished countries.
Fall may not officially begin until next week, but judging by the number of scarf-clad women ordering pumpkin spice lattes, the season is well underway. New to our seasonal list of fashion must-haves are the cozy goods just released by Krochet Kids International, a nonprofit brand of hats, scarves, bags and shirts made by impoverished women in Uganda and Peru (the work provides them with jobs and a steady income).
Hot on the heels of a shoe collaboration with Vans, Krochet Kids is ready for fall with some of the cutest headwear we’ve seen yet-think solid knit hats with oversized pom-poms and a sweet headband complete with a knit delicate bow-and campfire-ready fleece crew necks. We especially love the range of bags, which includes the Ivy League-inspired Abbot tote, with navy and burgundy stripes and buttery-soft leather handles that’s at home toting your laptop as it is carrying your farmer’s market finds. Bust out the marshmallows and bring on the season-we’re ready for it.
