Mood Board: Fall Make-up Trends
Make-up artist Sandy Ganzer shows us how to recreate her favorite fall beauty trends (they only look complicated!).
“My inspiration for this look is Ali McGraw in Love Story. It’s a sun-kissed look that’s easy if you know how to do it right.”
Get The Look:
Start by dabbing clusters of dots along the bridge of your nose and cheeks using a lip pencil, enhancing freckles you already have and adding some you don’t. Use a combination of matte bronzer along your hairline and hollows of your cheeks and a shimmery powder on your nose and cheeks, blending whatever is left onto your neckline.

“By far the best trend to try if your look needs a jolt of raw ‘90s hipness.”
Get the Look:
Line and fill your lips with a waterproof lip liner, then apply a coat of matte lipstick. Keep the rest of your face simple and clean by curling lashes and applying one layer of mascara.

Colorful Cat Eyes
“A smoky cat eye is a seductive nighttime look that’s surprisingly easy to pull off. Add in a fiery orange-red shadow and it’s a showstopper.”
Get the Look:
Sandy used a light foundation all over the face and eyelids as a primer before pressing orange shadow onto the model’s eyelids, blending up towards her brow but stopping right below. Sweep the same orange color under the bottom lid, connecting the color in a wing shape at the outer corners. Rim eyes with black shadow and line eyes with waterproof black pencil. Finish with a few coats of mascara.
