We've been following the ballad of Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino and her boyfriend Nathan Williams of Wavves all through the spring via Twitter. The pair both have albums coming out this summer, which means lots of touring and time apart, which also means lots of cute tweets about how much these two SoCal slackers miss each other. We almost died the day they both posted pics of their new tattoos, hers immortalizing her cat, Snacks, and his eternalizing summer. We called Bethany to get the scoop, and she dampened our rock & roll lovers fantasy a bit. "Nathan's on tour, so we didn't get them together," she said. We pointed out how perfect it was that the coincidence happened on the first day of summer. "Oh, was it?," she said. "It's pretty much always like summer in Southern California, so I didn't even notice."
