MAKE ART, NOT WAR

North Shore resident, Heather Brown does.

And since she just finished silkscreening a new batch of shirts for da ladies (with her ocean-inspired, stylie line drawings on them), you too can wear your peace lovin’, art patronizing heart on your sleeve. Her tees—and giclées—are all available on her website.

Heather works in acrylics, photography and printmaking. Her images come from a depp love for the sea, popular surf breaks and the beauty of the islands.

Heather Brown is the coolest, most laid back lady i’ve ever had a chance to meet, her art is so inspiring and youthful. Waking up to her creations with such vibrant blues and greens hanging on my wall puts a smile on my face constantly! Check out her work! You’ll love it!

I was in Hawaii (Maui) for the first time the first week of April and on the very last day just before the shops closed, I saw these extraordinary, colorful prints that just said “take me home”. I wasn’t able to buy or pack anything more, but I looked at Heather’s website as soon as I got home and I did just order 2 prints. How could I even decide? I love them all. They are very evocative of the colors and feeling of Hawaii. Keep making art, Heather! That’s what the world needs now - love and art
