If your weekly workout routine is starting to feel a little stale (hello, weight-loss plateau!), go for a spin at Los Angeles’ most multifaceted cycling studio: Aura Cycle.

Founded by former Italian professional athlete Maurizio Pelone and former investment banker Jose Palau, everything at the fitness destination was designed to bust boredom blues, from the sleek, futuristic decor to the innovative classes, which combine different types of exercises for a total body rejuvenation-Cycle45 classes incorporate free weights and core moves while Cycle45 Theme Rides play off seasonal events or send you cycling to playlists from the best artists around.

“I was working as a trader on Wall Street and wasn’t getting any real fulfillment from it,” says Palau of his jump from finance to fitness. “I had been doing indoor cycling since I was a teenager and always found it to be among the most effective and entertaining ways of getting my cardio in.”

And cardio is definitely on the menu, but you’ll barley notice your heavy breathing thanks to some serious spa-like details: Before class you’ll warm up with some yoga and when you hop off the bike you can enjoy a a eucalyptus cold towel or grab a cold-pressed juiced while you peruse an art gallery with work from great new artists-if that’s not the energy boost you were looking for, we’re not sure is.
